2. Alloy Steel

An alloy type of steel is an iron that is combined with one of the many other elements. Each of this material contributes its own unique feature to the final product. It is true that all of steels are considered alloys, however, chromium and carbon are alloys that has names which are attributed to the metal type that they form.

 

3. Stainless Steel

This type of steel is the most common because of its role in the manufacturing process of appliances and medial equipment. However, the range of use of this material is far more greater than that of a gas range at home. Stainless steels are set apart because of an alloy called Chromium. Because of that, the material will have a distinctive luster.

 

4. Tool Steel

   

A tool steel is straightforward regarding its business. This type of steel is used in manufacturing machineries. A process of adding extremely high heat called Tempering, cooling it quickly then heating again, will create a tool steel that is heat-resistant and extremely hard. This type is very abrasive and is usually used in a high-impact environment.
